Through the Pilgrim Icon Program, Knights of Columbus councils organize prayers with an icon of the most famous image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, painted in 1767 by Pompeo Batoni and now venerated in the Church of the Gesù in Rome. The reproduction bears the blessing of Pope Francis, through the Papal Almoner Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, and is one of more than 300 icons traveling across the world, from council to council, for veneration and use in prayer services. Before the icon of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, men and fathers of families entrusted themselves to the intercession of Saint Joseph. During each Holy Mass, a solemn individual blessing of men took place. We invite you to join the Knights of Columbus, for spiritual formation and involvement in charitable activities. https://www.kofc.org/secure/en/join/join-kofc.html
