Did you know that St. Hedwig of Silesia – the patroness of our church and community, was known for going barefoot despite her status as a princess as penance. Referring jokingly to this unusual attitude, your Parish Council cordially invites dear parishioners, their families and friends to purchase traditional pork jelly cooked on pork shank, which in literal translation from polish can be called “St. Hedwig’s cold feet”. It is a delicious dish that has been served on Polish tables for centuries. The list of advantages of “cold feet” is very long. First of all, it has a beneficial effect on the elasticity and hydration of the skin, thus reducing wrinkles, stretch marks and cellulite. It also brings relief from joint pain, helps seal the intestine, strengthens nails, and supports the liver and cardiovascular system. yum-yum :).
