W minionych tygodniach ca\u0142a ekipa naszych parafian zebra\u0142a si\u0119 aby przygotowa\u0107 miejsce pod remont.\u00a0 Zosta\u0142 rozebrany barek, oderwane p\u0142ytki \u015bcian kuchennych i niekt\u00f3re zbutrwia\u0142e szafki kuchenne. Szacuje si\u0119, i\u017c koszt wszystkich prac znacznie przekroczy uprzednio oszacowan\u0105 sum\u0119 $70,000. Na koncie Renowacyjnym jest ju\u017c zebrana suma, kt\u00f3ra pokryje prace ju\u017c rozpocz\u0119te. Bardzo serdecznie dzi\u0119kujemy<\/strong> wszystkim dotychczasowym ofiarodawcom, dzi\u0119ki kt\u00f3rym te prace mogli\u015bmy ju\u017c rozpocz\u0105\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n

CHURCH RENOVATION<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear <\/em><\/strong>Parishioners,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Our church is a place for religious worship, a place where various groups meet, associated with our parish, it is the heritage of previous generations of great heart, who with their involvement and hard work created our Parish, dedicated to our Silesian Saint Hedwig.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0As your Pastor, along with the Financial and Pastoral Council, I sincerely appeal to all of our parishioners, institutes and businesses for whatever material aid, which will help us to realize the modernization project of our parish, in the form of clearing water issues, of the lower areas of our structure, as well as the renovation of our hall and kitchen.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0It would be difficult to not notice that this renovation has already started. You only have to enter the main hall and look around at the interior to notice how much effort has been expended and how much work is still ahead of us.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In the previous weeks, a large contingent of our parishioners, got together to make preparations for this great undertaking. The bar was taken apart, tiles from the kitchen walls and several moldy cupboards were removed. A company has been hired to pick apart and cut out the edge of the flooring the length of the wall, the rubble has been removed as well as the gravel and mud from the interior. You can see that the ground water is still standing from the areas that have been cut away, the results of a positive undertaking which are continuing forward.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 As often occurs in the process of a renovation, the end can’t always be foreseen, you can’t always know what difficulties due to the demolition will require additional efforts for the completion of this task, which were not planned for. Our efforts did not include the purchase of a new boiler as well as updating plumbing and electrical structures.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I am fully aware that our estimates will undoubtedly exceed the $70,000, which was originally earmarked for this great undertaking. Our Renovation fund has been able to cover the costs of the work already started. <\/em>Our heartfelt thanks go out to our parishioners who have donated up to now, thanks to whom we have been able to begin this great project.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0However, we are forced to extend to you, our parishioners, this great plea to help in whatever way is possible to extend this renovation in the following manner, which stand before us at this time. 1. The modernization of the kitchen and hall, as well as \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a02. An entry ramp into the hall. <\/em><\/p>\n
